DR YASHLIN GOVENDER

Dr. Yashlin Govender is a skilled and dedicated Paediatric Surgeon with a deep commitment to providing the highest standard of care to children. With a medical background rooted in rigorous training and extensive clinical experience, Dr. Govender specializes in treating a wide range of paediatric surgical conditions, ensuring that his young patients receive compassionate and expert care.

Dr. Govender completed his undergraduate medical education at the esteemed Nelson R. Mandela School of Medicine at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, earning his MBChB in 2012. His passion for paediatric surgery led him to pursue advanced studies, culminating in his Fellowship in Paediatric Surgery in 2022 and Masters of medicine in Paediatric Surgery .

Outside of his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Govender is actively involved in continuous learning and professional development, regularly attending academic seminars and surgical meetings to stay at the forefront of his field. He is deeply committed to advancing paediatric surgery through his practice and contributing to the ongoing education and development of the next generation of medical professionals.
